    Cesc Fabregas retires

I wonder if he knew when he made his debut for Arsenal against The Millers on October 28th 2003 aged just 16 years and 177days that he would go on to win the World Cup, Premiership (twice), La Liga, FA Cup (twice) along with a whole host of other honours. As he was subbed in that game against us and didn't take part in the penalty shoot out his career is blighted by the fact he never scored against RUFC I never realised that was Arsenal's 'invincibles' season although he didn't play in any of the league games.

Lost my house keys, money and credit cards when Darren Byfield equalised. Absolute scenes in the away end at Highbury.

All handed back to me by honest Millers fans

That’s when the arse knew a proper club was in da hood

I was there that night we came so close to slaying the big guns. I remember being knackered at work next day as I was up at 5am and didnt get back from the match until 2.30am.

I was abroad at the time of the A.rsenal game and only found out the next morning whilst walking through Philadelphia airport how we had last. All this from a Gooner who’d been at the game the night before. Said we played a great game and didn’t deserve to lose like that.
