On Saturday there are 4 weeks until the 5th August when life kicks back into football mode…

During the break I have become more detached than ever on our Dale forum… when I post I either get no reply or some sarky comment…

Ok, have made it clear I CBA going… week in week out we lose.. Relegated… smoking ban at half time etc….

I am pretty much 95% sure I will not be doing it in the coming season… just said as much on a thread where a NCFC guy started a thread (not Jimmy Squirrel)… think I’ve just about had enough… I know there are a few on here who do it.. in the unlikely change of heart will let you know but looking forward to beating Griff & knocking him off his perch 😀😎

I'm looking foreard to this upcoming season after spending the past four years in the Aldi league,it's a pity that Carlisle and Dale aren't in League Two as well to make it really interesting on here

You may be disappointed about dropping down a league but the chances of getting into the playoffs are significantly higher than you've been used to,Dale will be a decent sized fish in the non league pond
