Lincoln went through a period where they played quick, entertaining, and competitive football. I wonder if they do now?
Just about to watch my first womens world cup. Have to confess I thoroughly enjoy it.

Going for 1-2. Hoping we have some kind of announcement by then.
Women's World Cup off with a bang. New Zealand beating much higher ranked Norway. Ireland keeping much fancied Aussies at bay.
So we got the announcement. Anyone going? We'll be there despite the train dispute.
Starting XI
Davies, Adebisi, Williams, Colkett, O'Riordan, Offord, Long, Powell, Holicek, Tracey and Tabiner.
So what did we learn from that? ......er...there must be something. One thing that occurs as Long goes off with an apparent non-contact injury and CBR is nowhere to be seen is how little we have up front if either/both of those have injuries that keep them our for any length of the season. Evans isn't a lone number 9 and will never succeed unless we have midfielder to exploit his runs into space.
We also saw that Powell is quite talented but it prone to be caught in possession as he doesn't seem to make decisions in time. Demetriou looked decent but I'd prefer to play him alongside O'Riordan than Offord. Talking of whom, another stupidly soft goal concocted out of the feet of him and Powell.
Holicek is definitely good but needs a regular forward to play alongside him. Lunt is tidy.
Billington was okay. Colkett didn't really contribute anything. Tabiner works hard and is clearly talented.
We need to know how injured Thomas is as until he comes in to play his usual role the other midfielders, Colkett, Powell and Tabiner will have to try their best to cover for him. Until Powell is allowed to play further forward, we won't see the best of him. Also why did Colkett take that free kick instead of Powell.
Good goal from Tabiner. Tracy seems to be playing within himself and needs to be freed to play his natural game.
And no Nevitt either! Hopefully, like Williams and Offord last week some at least could have played if it counted.
Thomas was there and chatting to Demetriou at half time.
I too think the best pairing would be Demetriou and O'Riordan, but today at least te decision of who he'd come on for was taken before the match I'm sur, and Offord probably needed the minutes more.
Did not attend so cannot comment. Re the above post, shocking criticism. Have at him Jimmy and Timmy LOL
CBR and Nevitt have slight knocks, but if it was a lg game, both would be available.
Longy has a virus, not an injury.
Holicek is not a forward, but had to play further up to support Long and then Tracey.
Demetriou looked a natural and fitted in like he had played for us for years.
Keeper was beaten from distance too easily, Again!
Thought Tracey was dangerous and could be a handful when Longy and CBR are both playing.
Still need to move on Sass Davies, Trigger and Griffiths ASAP.
Having been myself and not to repeat what people have already said I concur with virtually all of the comments that I have read. Powell impressed me a lot more than last week, if he can do the same again next time that I see him that will do for me. Very pleased to see him trying to drive the team forwards all the time and not scared of barking out the orders. Just to add that I hope that it is a virus with Long as an ice pack followed him down the tunnel.
