    Notts County Stats

Wasn't sure if this was an O/T post or not but seeing as it's Notts related I assumed it would be ok.

For those that don't know a 'new' version of the Notts County Stats website was launched. I've been on quite a journey over the last 3-4 years having started by posting some very rudimentary stats and charts on here to ending up with PFSA analysis qualifications and working closely with several clubs, managers and DoF's from NLN/S to League One and not to mention playing a big part in England C player selection. None of this would have happened with the support of many of you on here and social media platforms.

NCS NEWS is the new website and whilst it will still provide all the stats based previews and reports it will also be looking to fill some of the void left by the Nottingham Post and their decision to no longer have an online correspondent for Notts.

Along with the continued support of Colin Sisson and Tom Williams we intend to try and ramp up the content for Notts fans and to help with this have already recruited a number of volunteer correspondents to assist with the work load. This should enable us to provide the following content:

    • Match Previews
    • Match Reports
    • Statistical Match Reports
    • Opposition Analysis
    • Player Analysis
    • Breaking News
    • Club Interviews
    • Opinion Pieces

As well as this we hope to embed an audio version within the articles. This will hopefully allow people who don't have the time to read the articles or struggle with their reading to listen to the article instead.

All in all it's a real leap of faith for myself and those who will be regular contributors but I hope that in time it will become a valuable source of Notts based news, stats and analytical opinion.

You can visit the new site here http://ncs-news.co.uk and for the time being there is a redirect on the original site just in case. If you were a subscriber to the old site don't worry we have updated the subscriber list on the new site so that you don't miss out on email notifications. If you're not a subscriber what are you messing about at? Get subscribed today . . . please

As always any feedback appreciated, but please bear with us for a few weeks while we try to find our feet and iron out any glitches with the site and article publishing etc.

    Cheers, Rich

Definitely not O/T, in fact about as far away from O/T as you can get!

Good luck with the site, look forward to reading.

Agreed. Good luck with this, i really value your analysis throughout the season.

Quick question, do you have access to the club for interviews of coaches/players?

    Disgustingly on-topic IMO

    And well done!

Thanks guys, appreciated. Regarding interviews I’m already talking to the club about the possibility of this and hopeful we will have several opportunities throughout the season.

Great news regarding the interviews, as I am sure they will be more interesting than the standard pre match copy and paste offerings.
