    You fishing again BT ?

I’d kind of agree to a point if he’d had some service and we created lots of chances for him but we didn’t - so that makes a lot of the forwards the same doesn’t it ?

While we’re on it not knocking our own JBG - exposed today - off the pace can’t play at the level - centre mid especially- Brownhill - worst I’ve seen him for some time - twine slow and only wants to go one way,

People on here moan about Weghorst but imo anyway we’re going to need him.

The ****age Italian was decent and tried ( he has pace ) amdouni the same - quick decent just no service.

Looks like we could be getting Ramsay from Villa which is a good signing but he’s very young - however watching him he gets up and down and can pick a pass - the front men whoever plays is going to need that.

Foster seems OK as a player but not as a goalscorer, but in that category he's not the only one. We should have kept hold of Ash, but that aside WW seems a better prospect than Foster or JRod.

I'm not fishing army88, at present we have Weghorst (who does not want to be here), Foster (who should not be here) and Jay Rod who is "one of our own" and exempt from nasty things to say about him. I will be charitable and say perhaps a couple of seasons in the Championship with a different team (just like Barnes has) might be his best option.

That leaves us with the square root of **** all in the toughest league in the world.

VK believes in sharing the goals. We don't need a striker scoring 15 goals. Wide men is what we seem interested in buying, and they score from time to time. So enough of then solves having no striker.

Foster may well be a waste of space, but not all our signings are going to be a success. Bastien was the same last season, just not good enough, but it's bound to happen, I'm more concerned about getting the two or three players we still need in, where is Lokonga for instance, we've been signing him for three months now but he's still an Arsenal player.

All well and good Will but "the average number of goals per game in the English Premier League is 2.84. Over the 29 seasons of the Premier League, there have been a total of 29,917 goals in 11,266 matches, at an average of 2.65 goals per game. In another example, an aggregate of 85 goals happened during a Premier League season, which is an average of 2.24 goals per game."

There is no way on earth we will score around 2.65 goals per game in the EPL with Foster leading the line. I asked prior to the Mainz game where would the goals come from? The answer was zero.

I can't see Cork and JBG cutting it in the midfield in the EPL can you sinkov?

No, they can contribute but we need Cullen fit again and Lokonga and Ramsey on board at least. I've written Foster off, he clearly can't hack it, but it's the players we haven't signed that worry me more than Foster.

I'm amazed we have not bought Maatsen, Tella and THB. It's bonkers to me. The press report this morning Moyes wants Maatsen and £15 million is the starting price from Chelsea. WTF are we doing?
