    Gorilla Mitts predicts...

The baston of morality himself, the lord of infidelity has belched forth is barely comprehendible, unnuanced, outdated opinion.

He's said it's City by a mile for the title. No one will come close. Utterly clueless clown!

Arsenal look great with brilliant signings.
Chelsea look strong and don't have any European competition to distract them from focusing on the domestic challenges.

However once again he exposed his ignorance and disregard for Newcastle United.

"Newcastle had a fantastic season. It’s great to see them back in amongst the big boys – but they won’t finish in the top 4 this time. They’re way short of a squad capable of challenging in Europe and mounting the same domestic challenge – but enjoy it guys – you’ve earned the right.

So it’s *City for me. Arsenal, Liverpool and (Man) Utd for the other places in the top 4. But it could be *City at a canter."

Astonishing that a man of such little competence manages to draw a salary for this kind of garbage. Stealing a living! What a fraud!

I don’t like old wolf knuckles but I agree with him, City will win the league, they might appear to have a challenger to hype up the matches on tv put ultimately will run out winners.

I honestly don’t see us finishing top four, nah, we’ll be fight with Villa and Spurs around 6th 7th 8th.

If we do finish top four next season, well Eddie Howe will be truly elite manager status

In fairness, much like Phoney, I can't stand the hairy -handed se.x pest, but I think he's right about the top 4.

The average finishing position of teams in their first Champions League season is 8th. Now, we might buck the trend but I think we need to be prepared for a different type of season.

Certainly the league is geared toward that being the top four simply because they are allowed to spend more than us on players. The more you think about it the more it has the feel of a closed shop. We’ll need a couple more seasons of Eddie magic to break it but that’s only if they don’t change the rules in the meantime.

Eddie has already stated that the League will be priority,We are stronger than last year and can put two almost equal sides out,I think we will be top four again this season.

Wow this thread certain carried the whiff of Geordie Pessimism. I appreciate that a lot of the staple fraudie 6 however just because they've bought players, (apparently Spurs won the transfer window last season, that went well didn't it?) the fraudies all buy players every season 'Strengthening' only means something if it works.

Spuds, Kanes with a foot out the door & an Aussie Greek waiter. I'm still completely unconvinced of the Angie Popazoglou fella. He's managed in Australia, Japan and the footballing powerhouse of Scotland - Cue The Gerrard comparisons and the superb job the bindipper did at Villa in the toughest league in the world. It's a long way from Brisbane mon aimes!

Chelsea, Poch, no Europe, great squad nailed on top 4? The club is a dumpster fire, so many things wrong with it. Poch is gonna upset a lot of that squad by not having enough games to satisfy them. It ain't gonna be a cake walk for the man who everyone loves to hype yet has managed to win the French league & cup with a $1B squad... What a hero! The man has so many fires to put out at that club, he isn't in control of the signings and if they go on a bad run of 8-10 games without a win the Chelsea fans will turn on him as a Spurs Spy! They should do very well but it's not a certainty for sure.

Liverpool, Horse teeth, Szoboszlai, McAlister, Wow what a devastating midfield! They back 4 are hopeless in 3 pre-season games they shipped 11 goals, drawing 4-4 with Greuther Furth - who the F**k are they? Say what you want about their attacking options, very scary however games are win on defence not in attack. They have major issues defending and it will cost them against the lower teams who will park the bus or against a Brighton or NUFC who will press their defence to death and force mistakes. Again not a shoe in for the top 4 at all.

Man U, Ten Pence the bald coward, Martinez the cheat & the Chelsea reject. The bald man have spaffed £500m on transfers since his arrival, let that sink in... Double EH's spend and they achieved 3 more points than us last season? They will be a true contender for top 4 no doubt. They proved despite being Meh last season they still managed to achieved 3rd. Not a title challenger though I doubt. Also we need to see how being back in at the Big Show affects their league for just like ours. Will flatter to deceive early on then fall away. A coward as manager and a coward in Shteve the coward his number 2 they'll bottle it around April.

Arsenal, the mysteron, his eyebrows and Saka's stats.
They look great can't see how they will be worse with Rice onboard. Saka is well over hyped. OdourGuard the Antiperspirant queen will have another great season so I recon they'll mount a more serious challenge for the title. Depending on how the UCL takes it's toll.

City are City, What is there to say. Best squad, best manager, bests tactics, well drilled, tight unit. Haaland. Frightening!

We're very much in the mix as agitators once again, this time not only will Brighton be also needling those mentioned about but so will Villa.

My one hope is that the press leave us alone and focus on how 'awesome' Villa are gonna be and we can slip under the radar and just get on with our business.

Further more gents, please write your answers on a stamped address envelop but please name one team of the above mentioned incl. Villa and Brighton who have had a better pre-season than NUFC?

We have Joe Willock out injured and Schar touch and go. That's amazing.

    We've played 2 - 11s and won both b2b matches.

There is 24 days left of the transfer window for the board to bring in 1 or 2 excellent addtions behind Tino.

Whilst I'm not saying top 4 is a cert, we have to be optimistic that it will happen.

😁 Geordie pessimism.... it's in my blood, unfortunately.

For me, I'm optimistic we'll have a good season but realistic about where we'll finish, given the extra games and travelling.

Like EH I'll be taking it one game at a time.

Let's start on the right foot and take 3 points against the Press's new darlings Villa on Saturday. A 4-0 would be nice, real statement job!
