    Brighton and Brentford

Great owners and fantastic recruitment at Brighton and Brentford. This is what happens when clever people run the club and not muppets like Lai - Dowling - Gourlay and Miles! Brighton look to make around 100 million on Caicedo yet we spend almost 55 million on Zohorse - Grant - Grady and Dike and their worth is around 20 million. It makes you want to cry 😢

    Brighton News
The fee is understood to be worth £111m, with Moises Caicedo set to travel to Liverpool on Friday for a medical; there will also be a sell-on clause included in the deal; Brighton signed Caicedo for £4.5m from Independiente del Valle in 2021

PS - people like Ashworth should be on the highest salary at any club and w ankers like Dowling and Gourlay should stick to peeling the oranges 🍊

At least we have a manager who wants us to play like Brighton. Pity we don’t have such good owners.

What we should have done with Ashworth is offered him a percentage of player profits, providing he's still at the club when the player is sold. I can't think of anything more motivating.

As an extreme example, Caicedo bought for £4.5m and sold for £110m. If he had a 5% player sale bonus he would have personally made £5m+. That's a win-win all round.

I’ve said this many times on here.

If I was Ashworth I’d be looking to take over a club like ours.

I think he’d know the right people to get involved in a takeover group and with his track record I don’t think he’d have much problem convincing money men that he was a sound bet.

    The Brighton scenario is fascinating.

Consider how short a time ago it is since they were playing at The Withdean without a pot to p I s s into.

They are now selling a single player for £111m.

They’ve recently sold players including this latest one for around £250m+.

THIS is what attracts fools like Lai, they think everyone is capable of this magic, in truth, Ashworth is one of the few who has had this skill.

I’d love to see him return as our owner.

But you’re right 123, a % cut of player transfers was the way to have kept him in the first place.

I wonder if JP would lend him £60m of our money to buy the club?

Bang on their Swedish. Players are poor and back four shocking - no pace on midfielder and still nobody firing goals in

Just in the last 3 seasons they've sold Mac Allister, Sanchez, Cucurella, Bissouma, Trossard,White, Maupay,Burn, plus Caicedo equates to the best part of £400,000,000 all of them for absolute top dollar and more whilst improving as a team.

Big sale down the line the young CF Evan Ferguson. He is going to score a lot of goals for someone

    Oh and David Button.
