    Leicester City Post Match Thoughts

I'm assuming the game has actually finished despite the fact all my sources show it still going on. It's strange but when the reverse psychology of 'a game where we expect to get nothing' actually comes true it somehow seems disappointing! At the end of the day it's still a loss but a loss against a team who were in the Premiership last season and league champions not so long ago. How did we do? Is there hope from another fighting display?

    Thoughts on today's game.

Good performance, crap result. Kayode and McGiugan shouldn't be put on the pitch, poor decisions by the manager. If eaves is a footballer i am the pope and i am not even catholic, that header was awful, nobody around him, hitting the player made it look better than it was. Gru is right about Bramall as a left back, out of position for boh goals, and he knew it. Blackett and Humphreys are excellent as is the lad from Wolves. Green improved when on the left. We are nearly there, judge us 6 games after the international break, but the club has to get signings in over the next week, a minimum of another 3.

Played well, but tired in the last quarter and the lack of squad depth showed. Eaves will no doubt get stick, but Hugill had 2 good chances for my money, he has to do better. Dexter MotM for me.

    Exactly this.

I thought we matched them for the vast majority of the game and proved we have, at least 11 players, capable of giving anybody a game at the NYS. Desperately need some depth to the squad, it really did show today. Personally I came out feeling we deserved a point. Honestly thought we played well.

Lembikisa is absolutely outstanding. This lad is destined for a great career.

A loss and we are out of the bottom 3.

Next up in the league are Norwich who won 4-0 at Huddersfield today.

More importantly we need more quality in. Solid until the subs were made. First 11 good enough but that bench is appalling for this level.

Still a loss is a loss and am gutted.

Performance worthy of (at least) a point.

They had strength on the bench we didn't.

Thought we deserved a point agree with above we have a good first 11 but no one to effect the game as a sub what is frustrating is we only have 1 week left of the window why do we leave it too late? I guess it’s because of who we are I see Stansfield scored for Brum a shame he’d have been great for us I reckon Eaves? What can you say it looked like a penalty to me after hitting the Leicester players arm but he should have buried it he offers nothing gives stupid fouls away and his hold up play is non existent
I’m optimistic but we are playing catch up the 11 that put a shift in deserve some help Odoffin Lindsay Ferguson and co would make a huge difference along with a couple of additions
It says it all when Leicester were running it into the corners and how they celebrated you’d think they’d won the League!
On paper they should be beating us 4 0 without any problems
Well done lads if that doesn’t sound too daft 😳

A very proud Miller tonight. The football we played during that spell in the second half was light years ahead of the garbage that we watched under Warne.

The starting eleven is the best I have seen in decades. We have never had a team with such technical ability. It is so good Rathbone looks lost and is maybe the weak link in the middle. Christ was a revelation (sorry) , really liked what I saw.

Conversely it is one of weakest squads we have had in decades. We bring on Kayode: they bring on Vardy. Need I say more?

If we can get 3 good quality squad players in, we will be ok. If we don't we are down.

Green on the left 2nd half was our main provider surprised he was taken off. Was Kayode & Eaves who came on should be for the last time. Bramall seems to have that costly lapse in him nearly every game this week need be looking for a more reliable left back. Can't fault on the whole how we played today not many below par performances from our starting 11 Dext was outstanding his cross near the end deserved better from Eaves. This week need to find players that can add something to the squad use Stoke carabao cup game to to get Arvin more up to speed McGuckin some game time.
