    Attendances.

I listened to some of the game last night on the radio, the club are obseesed by attendances, with a penny pincher in charge. Its obvious that the continued existence of United depends on div 1 status.

Reading brought a full stand i think, so the 6,500 attendance had 1,500 to 2,000 Reading fans. So United had about 4,000 fans, yet the commentators were highly delighted.

There has been an increase but by hundreds or maybe a thousand on the usual.

In the southern league United had 5,000 for a big game, all United fans, about the same in the football league, there has been no voluble increase at all.

If United were getting 6, 7 thousand home tickets sold per game, now thats different, not a lot, not a lot of money, but something.

United are a club with an anchor tied to their leg, and it will pull them under, when City get up and running, just a few miles away, gates will be affected, even a hundred will impact badly.

Barry has bought a club out in the wilds and it shows, there is no way of increasing support, its self delusional to think otherwise.

It may persuade him to sell up quicker, as he said he would, he wont make a substancial loss, you would have to be an idi ot to do so.

So United and City can renew their acqueantance, damn, my keys alphabet has all but gone. With a new owner, Barry having come and gone, taking what he wanted.

Maybe United will have to relocate, as a new owner, if he isnt stupid, will sell the Abbey to the NCP.....HAAAAAAAAA.

Justice will be done. Maybe a new ground, capacity 4,000 can be had near Ely, or Fordham.

Big time football gone, forever........ha ha ha ha., Thats my evil laugh, the sooner the better. United are doomed to minor leagues.

Notts are getting 9000+ at home games and last Saturdays game against Tranmere was the highest gate outside of the championship, away following has imcreasrd as well with 1800 tickets being sold for Saturdays MK Dons game with an extra 750 asked for, bizarrely this is all down to Forests stint in the Premier League with casual fans (especially younger ones) unable to get a ticket for game so venter across the Trent to Notts instead
