    Ian Hamilton shocking news if true

    On the Sons of Albion facebook, they are saying Ian Hamilton has died.

    Richard Sneakers wife has confirmed it on her facebook.
    Sad news met him many times when I spent many weeks installing the the alarms and cctv at the Albion.
    Always had time for people and a good tidy footballer.
    R.I.P Ian condolences to family and friends .

    That’s awful, please have a listen to the liquidator podcast interview with Hammy, he had serious liver issues due to alcoholism which he was battling. RIP try baggies legend.

    Hadn't realised he had been battling alcoholism but 55 is no age. RIP and thoughts with his family.

    That’s awful news.

    When I used to sit at the back of the Brummie Rd during his playing days I always jokingly stood up whenever he was taking a free kick and shouted….”I’ll catch it!”.

    Best set of curtains hair in the football league as well and the master of doing circles with the ball in midfield.

    RIP Hammy, some great memories.

    No way. So sad . As someone who’s had problems with my drinking since the forces I relate to the struggle..best wishes to his family. God bless Ian
