Everton sold today - what about FFP breach..

Today Everton confirmed that they had agreed a sale to 777 Group pending regulatory approval which raises more questions about multi-club ownership.

777 already own Sevilla, Italian club Genoa, Brazilian team Vasco de Gama, Belgian club Standard Liege, French team Red Star FC and Australian team Melbourne Victory.

Not sure how that'll effect their FFP breach of rules hearing on 25 October 2023.

Everton face legal action from Leicester, Leeds, Southampton & Burnley that could run into tens of millions of pounds if they lose their case for an alleged breach of the Premier League’s financial fair play rules

Presumably any legal action, and consequences that flow from it, would take the form of sanctions against those who owned the club at the time of the infraction, not the new owners?

As much chance of Everton getting done as there is man city getting done.....now if it was Leeds...we'd have a points reduction, a fine and demoted to league 2. One law for one etc, etc.
