    VAR strikes again

Just watched Burnley have goal chalked off for hand ball , unbelievable , if anyone who saw it can explain how that was clear & deliberate then please do , they are ruining our game.

There seems to be more talking points since VAR was introduced. Two key points which are obviously overlooked are-

It is used incorrectly- It should be used for refereeing howlers only, a clear and obvious error.

It is used inconsistently- Different interpretations of similar situations that occur in football matches resulting in inconsistent decision making.

Personally I'm just fed up with the whole thing. It just dominates the Premiership, it dominates the sports news and radio. I find it tedious and just switch off.

The day we lost the play off final was a prime example of how VAR hasn't improved the game.

I think you have summed up my thoughts perfectly , I wish they would sack it off but I fear it is here to stay , than goodness we dont have it in division three .

There's too much money invested in it to scrap it unfortunately Shads. They over use this so called technology to try and justify its cost. Tonight's disallowed goal a prime example of being seeing to be doing.
