Eden Hazard- Did/Could VK try to tempt him out of retirement ?

I know his name was mentioned on here some time ago, but to retire at 32, with all his ability is criminal. Couldn’t we try to tempt him to the area of dark , satanic mills, for half a season ? What a boost that would be, And he’s Belgian !! What a challenge that would be for us ,and the player himself. Over the years we’ve had the knack of tempting some very big names to the Turf, why not him ?I’m surprised that no one hasn’t already tried to get him to join them. Such a waste of talent.

He’d be a special signing Mal - but we could do with a defence and midfield that stops goals going in.

As long as we score one more than the opposition, we’d all be happy !!

Apparently VK tried during the Summer but failed.

We have one Army, we've played three games against bottom end teams so far, all three away from home, and conceded just the two goals. We kept United to one goal, which just happened to be Goal of the Month, and Newcastle to two, one of which was a very dubious penalty. If we ship goals for gun in our next four games then I might be concerned, but right now I'm not.

I take your point Sinkov - but I can only base my opinion on what I see and at the minute we look like we’ll concede goals against most teams who firstly break our press and have pace to exploit us - and secondly from balls slung in to our box all be it from open play or set pieces.

I’m behind us all the way Sinkov , just think we have enough wide men and we could do with stopping goals as well as scoring them.

After I watched the Luton game we looked vulnerable and they could have scored more.
