    Ballard or Harwood Bellis

Why might be going for Dan Ballard when we can have THB for the same money, it baffles me!!

In any transfer/loan there are three parties - the club that has the player, the club that wants the player and the player himself.

Burnley may well want the player but if either the club that has the player or the player says “no” it won’t happen.

We don’t know the whole story. What we do know is that is not just a case that Burnley wants the player, here’s the money and off we go.

So if this move was to happen, who are the candidate(s) for being shown the door?

THB for me. It’s still not too late to recruit the future England captain.

He has just signed a new contract with City and is now on a season long loan to Southampton who have an option to but him for £20 million should they get promotion.

Neither for me Lancaster - I’d like a proven premiership centre back to sure up our back line

A lot seem to think THB would be the answer but I’m of the opinion he could sink as easy as swim at this level of football and we have an awful lot of young players already.

I also think if THB was already capable at premiership level Pep would t be loaning him out in the championship- that’s not suggesting he’s not a good player who can’t step up - I just think they’d have him at city

I think we have more chance of getting Maatsen back than THB, and there's not much chance of that.
