A fantastic footballer & a gentleman , I remember Man U coming to Oakwell in the cup in the early sixties & he hit a shot at the cop end which thundered against the bar & I think the bar is still shaking ! I swear I do not think I have ever seen a shot hit as hard , R.I.P Bobby

    Legendary man,
    League winner
    Cup winner
    European cup winner
    World Cup winner
    European footballer of the year
No other Englishman has achieved this feat
    A gentleman
You could comb the earth and not find anyone who would say a bad word about the man
Consider what a traumatic experience being a survivor of the terrible Munich disaster must have had on a lad his age
Also all the years put into his soccer schools for the young uns
    RIP sir Bobby
