    Watford Post Match Thoughts

I said after the QPR game that the dissenting voices seem to be reaching a crescendo but is TS listening or will he follow his Warne model and 'stand by his man'? Well it's deafening now after today's dismal performance where all we have to show for it seems to be a couple more wounded hamstrings, a hammering and a shredded goal difference.

It a rhetoric question but thoughts on today's game?

If i was being generous I would say we need 2 managers Taylor for home games and somebody else for away games.

The hamstring thing with our players is beyond a joke there is something wrong in how we train our players.

If we are going to give MT the boot now is the time, a chance to get someone in in the international break and to look at our sorry dilapidated squad.

It gets to the point where you see the players get off the coach at away games and think why bother. Also for fans travelling away you think why bother getting on in the first place.

The away form is stubbsyesque. Losing 5-0 to a very mediocre watford side is just mot good enough.

I see on the match thread people saying stick with him and see how he does in L1, you have to be joking, he is clueless. The last 2 goals totally his fault, we were down to 10 men because of terrible use of substitutes and the substitute rules, THAT IS THE 2ND TIME THIS SEASON. He has to use subs early in games to try and stop the rot, how many games has he done that now? The Watford commentators that weren't has harsh with us as they should have been, said "Rotherham don't have a clue when coming forward, they haven't created anything when they have the ball", that is matt Taylor and this joke of a coaching staff. People say who will we get instead, well anyone at the moment will improve us. We have recruited players that are a much higher risk of injury, and we lose 2 if not 3 today as Morrison was rushed down the tunnel as well. Get a new manager in, clear out as much of the treatment brigade as we can in January, try to bring in younger players. My only positive today was Nombe, there is a player there he did as good as he could. I am embaressed watching that

Different players, different formation, same outcome.

As I understand it, we abandoned the 532 and reverted to a back 4. Again, a change of tactics/shape. It suggests that MT has absolutely no idea how to fix our problems, especially away from home. We're getting worse, not better.

I think MTs tenure is 50/50. There is no way he will keep us in the league. That's fast becoming apparent. The January transfer window is preparation for L1 and TS needs to decide if he trusts MT to put together a team capable of mounting another promotion challenge.

Any increase in performance has been nullified after that result.

That second half was no better than how we were at Hillsborough.

Im off to catch the train home now. Away fans are angry and rightly so and there was a clear chant of him being sacked in the away end.

I said I'd judge after the following games. COV, Weds, QPR, Ipswich, Watford. I said we needed 6 points from those given how many were at home.

We have 5 points, two horrendous performances, 1 bad performance, a poor one against QPR and a good win against Coventry.

All of these clubs (Ipswich aside) were beatable and had been in poor form.

It's not the points as much it is the performances that have gone backwards.

I like him, I want him to work. I suspect he will be sacked this month if not this week.

He wont have a warney effect in league1 cos he dunt understand the rotherham "way".That is plain with our away performances when we are not in the oppositions face. We could very well drop into Div 2 if we keep MT on in Div 1.

I just don’t know what to say please please Tony pull the trigger at least when not if we go down let’s do it like a proper Rotherham team who gets in teams faces makes a tackle and at least compete look at any of the goals today or back at Stoke on day 1 this guy is out of his depth I know we’ll lose games at this level but to not even compete is totally unforgivable I’m embarrassed to be a Millers supporter at the minute don’t give him any more £ for January he’s already had more to spend than any other manager
Who do we get? No idea but to not do anything to change it would be stupidity and fans will vote with their feet, I have nothing but respect for the fans who went today and other away games but the teams that are beating us aren’t all that much better it’s just we are dire Pigs Hudds today spring to mind straight away but there’s others too 2 wins in 16 games😡 Absolutely shocking

Taylor is on a par with Stubbs. And as with him, he comes over as a know it all, when the truth is the opposite. The fans have not warmed to him really. There are far better managers out there and we need to act now before it is too late. Richardson and Clough wouldn't do any worse than this guy.
