I Hope the Gareth Watched This!

Just been thoroughly entertained by the League Two match between Notts County and Bradford City, now managed by Graeme Alexander.
Thoroughly entertaining first half in which County went 4-0 up ust before half time, although City had had quite a few chances.
Second half City came out and really went for it but only managed a couple of goals and lost 2-4 in the end.

County had 68% possession and had 15 attempts at goal with 8, yes eight, on target.
City had just 32%possession and had 24 attempts at goal with 6 on target.
The referee, Tom Reeves , and his officials were good and there was no outside interference with drreaded VAR and both sets of players just got on with the game ------just like the good old days.

A crowd of 11909 watching a League Two game is really good and I hope that they enjoyed it as much as I did.
County have played 18 League games this season and there have been 68 goals scored! Proper footie!
These are the games that Gareth should be watching ---two teams trying to get the ball forward and score goals!

To be fair to Gareth he thinks VAR is rubbish as well, but that's about all he has going for him.

Nearly 12000 is pretty good for a game live on television. I watched some of it and I agree with you. And no VAR. !!
