    Transfer Rumours

I know it's the interwebs but its depressing to see all the names of our players linked to January. I want to vent just to rationalize to myself.

The one that seems to come up the most is Strujik. Club Bruggge??? So spurs are desperate for a CB and have big money and we sell to a club that's payroll is less than many Championship team budgets.

Meslier- countless clubs. However, if we were really going to sell Chelsea looks in bad need and have more money than sense.

Gnonto- Italian clubs... several of them. None with any money while several prem teams have quite a bit of money and need.

Gray- the most disturbing of all. A true Leeds classic family tradition. At 17 we'll face him for a decade or more. It woudl cost at least that amount of money to replace him if we get promoted.

Summerville - several European teams. Most don't seem able to cough up 40 million which is what a player of his caliber is going for.

Rutter- several German teams. None of which seem to have 35 million just to replace what we have in him.

Ampadu - again, some Belgian teams. None of which have 25 million which would be a bargain if we have to replace him in the prem.

I realize they have to sell papers and clicks but none of the above make any sense if the 49's believe we are going to get promoted. All of the above would be part of a prem team.... probably a pretty good one at that.

It’s paper talk and agents spreading rumours. Would ignore it until it happens.

Agree with Billy, Gnonto has form in his respect, none of the others do (not saying they aren't aware of clubs supposedly expressing interest). Also agree with your comment regarding the 49-ers, thye have the opportunity to make a real statement in January by making it clear that none of those you mention (with the possible exception of Gnonto) are for sale or will be allowed to leave the club. Might be a challenge if any of them begin to make noises about going, but since when was managing/owning LUFC (or any club come to that) "easy"?
