    Man of the match

I was thinking Tino but on reflection the whole team should win that honour.

The Brazilians in the middle of the park did their bit too!

Miggy, for me. Fantastic performance defensively for an attacking player.

He embodies Howe's 'intensity is our identity' mantra.

It's unbelievable the amount of energy that lad has. I'd love to know his diet and how he stacks up all of those calories.

And of course he's gifted with the the football talent and brain to go with it.

Miggy has a lot of quality when in his best form, but his general standards - even when not in his best from - have also improved vastly the past months. He's not just all running-and-no-end-product anymore - even when he doesn't score, he contributes with a lot of quality in all phases of the game.

It was a seriously impressive performance all round. First half was kind of stunning.

I’m so impressed how we play our way out of tight situations like some of the top teams. One touch pass and move. That’s down to the coaching.

Bruno G looked class in the first half.
Trippier was great all round. Kept Mbappe very quiet. Miggy was quality. Livramento has give from a future prospect to almost unstoppable in the space of a couple of weeks.

Pope may just get MOTM for me though. Superb performance. I think I remember he even managed to kick the ball to one of our players on one occasion!
