Haven't listened to WM in years. Can't see a reason to tune in tonight either. Not even for a good laugh at them lot. Then again 😉 .

I cannot see the point of continuing with VAR; it was supposed to eliminate bad refereeing decisions (howlers) but seems to be worse than refereeing without VAR. Could it be that those tucked away in the Stockley Park office have too great a supply of red wine and are making decisions while pi$$ed? Whatever, everything around VAR is making the game worse, needs to be given the red card.

I always listened to it during my t een years it was Radio Birmingham back then. I would listen out for the klaxon when a goal was scored, hoping it was us who scored.

I must say I have loved VAR this season an absolute shambles and Wolves getting the wrong end of its calls is brilliant! All joking aside it really isn’t fit for purpose and adds nothing to the game but misery.

Reminds me of when I lived in Israel back in the early 80's. Thw BBC World Service use come on around mid way through the second half commentart of a game. They would always say "We welcome our world service listeners from around the world"
Funny what we remember from years a go Phil. Thanks for that...
