    Lionesses

A shadow of their former selves, being out thought and out played by the Netherlands, I'm switching over to watch York and Wigan in the FA Cup. 0-2 so far.

Its a shame - but they have done things to be proud of.
I am sure the way they raised the profile of the womens game, and the increase in funds that come with that, they will have paved the way for future success also.

The defence is now poor and the forwards have lost their shooting boots, sounds familiar.

Just switched back, noticed it was 2-2. Wigan beating York 0-1 in dense fog.

Well a 3-2 win, it was a different England in the second half with all the subs. They needed to win 4-2 to be back in control of the group for the final game on Tuesday so now need to beat Scotland and hope other results go their way to make the QF's.

Lionesses pretty toothless in that first half but showed their claws in the second half and deserved the win. Will not be enough though unless we beat Scotland in our final game and Belgium can thwart the Dutch.
