True but with the buses & trains not running that will not help.

True. I was planning on leaving today, driving 200 miles down to Portland, a flight from Portland to Denver, another one from Denver to Huston and then one last one from Huston to Heathrow. From there I had the underground to Victoria and then a National coach to Barnsley. After that I was going to walk to Zippy's in Wombwell and he'd agreed to put me exhausted in a wheel barrow on Boxing Day morning and drop me off at Rotherham Exchange. When I found I couldn't get a bus from there to NYS I thought "Fcuk It!"

There might be empty seats but they've all been sold. I know several people who have tried in vain to get tickets.. The ground is simply not big enough for the Championship or to accommodate floating customers. Should have been built to at least 16 thousand capacity.

TT, Why would anyone in their right mind waste millions extending a stadium that is a third empty just so they accommodate floating fans just for the festive period?

Ok but i have regularly tried to persuade both my neighbours to take their kids (supporters of the future?) to matches but they repeatedly tell me they cannot get seats together so where are these spare seats ?Do we not have 8000 unavailable season ticket seats ? All thats left are odd seats scattered around the stadium according to my neighbours. How often are there similar instances around the region ? Could be considerable lost income.

But isn’t it a little bit bizarre?

Bottom of the league but filling the ground
