    Hakeem Odoffin

He has done a nice interview (see link below) and shows what an excellent attitude and contribution he makes to our squad, we need to get this lad on a longer contract asap, I think he is a bigger priority than rathbone, he can play multiple positions and he can score goals.

    A future captain?

He was not thought highly of but how good has he been? Firstly under Taylor and now under Richardson although for the latter he's been playing out of position.
For me his injury at Sunderland was the start of this seasons demise.

For me we need both Hakeem and Ollie signed up, Ollie hasnt been anything like the player we know he is this season but getting both of these players on new contracts would send out a statement of intent. UTM

Agree with all above, They both would and are very valuable assets.
    Certainly so in League One,

Once again.................how do you make players sign if they don't want to? Their agents will be telling them all sorts of promises.

I’ve asked that in the past and never got an answer. Good luck.

Wait until it’s announced we haven’t got an extra years extension on his contract . It will be a blood bath on here . God help Paul Douglas and co 🤣

You are right, we cannot force any player to sign a new contract, but we can let them know early that we want them to sign, which can make a difference to the players mindset by letting them know we want them to stay, we can only try to influence them and hope they do sign. UTM
