    Brilliant from our Skipper.

Hope this works so the text and pic is viewable.

Sadly it is a little blurry.

And somehow I did it twice.

    What Jed says is….

As a group of players, we would like to thank the fans who have sent messages of
support to Daryl. We have a very tight knit dressing room this season and although it was a good point yesterday against a really strong team, the general mood of the boys today is disappointment for a loved member of
our squad. We have all seen how hard he has worked in the last nine months to get back playing the game he loves. This is a family club and everyone within will support Daryl physically and mentally over to coming
period. Thank you again. We all look forward to
sharing the pitch with Daryl in the future.

BTA-who seems to have struck up a particularly close friendship with Dike-has put up a similarly heartfelt post of support. This does indeed seem to be quite a tight knit group of players as Wallace says and Dike is clearly liked but he is going to need that emotional support for what looks like another lengthy period of treatment and recuperation for him. Can only wish him all the best.

Jed comes across as a classy human being. We all wish Dike the best in his physical and emotional battle. Just a thought to Asante, that guy has led the line for months now with hardly any back up due to injuries. Always with a smile and total commitment and with as many goals as Ipswich’s top scorer this season. Great club and players to be proud of.
