We had a Bank Holiday lunch at our house yesterday, my youngest son and youngest grandson have decided bilaterally we are travelling to almost all of next season's away fixtures and one or two of those make really tasty weekends away:
Bristol,
Plymouth,
Portsmouth,
Middlesbrough,
Norwich & Sunderland and others.

I said the cost of these trips with hotels, meals travel expenses and tickets will stretch the old wallet a bit too far.
In stepped Mrs BT, "if I can come along I'll fund it!"
Dark horse is Mrs BT but the look on my grandson's face means she will have to stand on now.

It will also be great to go down the Turf with my five year old granddaughter who is now a season ticket holder and can't wait to debut in her new Burnley shirt (goddam she looks so cute!)
The rest of the tribe are not happy though saying she's too young to go.
Guess who said, "I'm not am I grandad?" Nana then piped up to the youngest son, "Your dad took you on at 18 months old" - I did too!

We were then all reminded by the 8-year-old grandson, "At least we have a chance of winning every week!". Too true son, too true!

Once a Claret always a Claret.
