If ever there was a "S**t what have I done" look on someones face - that is it

Like the story of someone driving to Court to plead guilty to drink driving - getting a ban and then being stopped by the Police (outside the Court/Police station) as he attempted to drive away

As examples of stupidity go that's quite outstanding to be fair. Kudos Mr. Harris for your exemplary effort in this year's Darwin Awards 😎.

The look of astonishment tinged with amusement on the judge's face is priceless.

So, after his zoom call went viral, Corey Harris gave media interviews claiming it was all a misunderstanding and he thought the suspension of his license had been lifted in another state. Judge Simpson had done his research and discvovered he'd never had a license to be driving in any state and there was already a warrent outstanding for his arrest. Following his court appearance yesterday he's now held in custody until his next court appearance on August 7th. What a dork!

My long time solicitor was a well known local heavyweight (in all senses of the word) called Brian Senter, 30 stone and a brilliant raconteur and character, now sadly no longer here.

He always drank a lot and most afternoons was p I s s e d but still a bloody good solicitor.

One day he got called out to represent a client who’d been arrested and was in Kidderminster nick.

As he drove off the car park he got pulled and breathalised and lost his licence for two years! 🤣🤣🤣

“Not as bad as the first time I got done” he told me, “I drove the car off the Kidderminster Road and overturned it in a ditch and had to be rescued just before the car burst into flames”……then he added, “ I ended up on Midlands Today News at 6.30 with that one”.

    🤣🤣🤣🤣

😂😂 Stupid is as stupid does.

Reminds me of a shop-lifter we caught once many years ago. He was a cocky little s crote who was abusive and denied everything despite us catching him red handed but when our favourite ex Met officer turned up and started questioning him it became farcical. He began by listing his various convictions which, aside from assault and shoplifting, included " driving under the influence, driving a vehicle without a valid MOT, driving without a licence, driving without insurance". "So, how did you get here today?" the officer asked. "" Drove here didn't I" came the reply. Not since the thieves of a local garage left a trail of paint to follow from the leaking cans they nicked have I been so stunned by the stupidity of some people.
