Thread: Hourihane

    Hourihane

As heavily rumoured, we’ve now got Conor back!

    https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/20...ihane-returns/

2 year player coach role to then go into full time coaching, if I’ve understood.

Great signing in my opinion. The experience he brings could be *****. And he can still play a bit by the way.

Made my day this has! Love him to bits, he will add much needed experience to the midfield and I think him and Luca will be a bit special.
I'd like to see Grant come back permanently now as well for when Conor gets tired.

This has been asked and answered, so many times on here now!.
Ok then so Conor is back, and he's looking to move into coaching/managing, eventually.
This could really be a massive positive thing for us, let's give credit and hope it goes well. 😁

Personally I can’t see how he fits into the playing side of things.
Coaching yes - playing probably not.
He wasn’t the fastest the last time he was here.
And I’m expecting the speed of the team to be turned up a few notches now Clarke is here.
However - if the recruitment team think that he can still do a job for us then that’s fine by me.
I can’t see him playing a full match - but we will see.
