I'm curious about the short contract extension agreed with the club to tie Kelly to the club for the duration of the competition.
I haven't read any details so all I can imagine is that for listing of the squad Kelly has Motherwell associated with his name.
I can't see this as any means to retain him or for the club to receive a transfer fee.
So, I guess it's just a friendly courtesy arrangement.
I can't see him getting game time given the goalie selections that have been chosen.
