No doubt you'll be waking up to the reports on the Trump v Biden debate. All I can say is how on earth did the Democratic party let that happen? I tuned in around the 30 minute mark and it took me all if 30 seconds to realise how bad Biden was. I turned it off as I was embarrassed for him.

Just listened to a brief report on TalkSport which politely said he’d struggled at the beginning but he “had warmed into it as the debate went on” in the words of the US TV co-host.

With the exception of Biden the others went through a selection process and were chosen by people who could be bothered to get involved.

I don't think Starmer's election will lead to a world which is "firkin doomed". Trump? Possibly.
