Previously banned German Ref to officiate England v Netherlands match

I think some fans may well want to raise a few points over this appointment.

Felix Zwayer, who was previously banned for 6 months for his part in a match-fixing scandal, and who has a history with Jude Bellingham, gets to be the man in the middle. Obviously there's a lot behind his initial ban in 2016, as he dobbed in the main man in the middle, Robert Hoyzer who was banned for life.

He's somehow redeemed himself along the line but, how does anyone involved in match fixing keep his role?

It's like saying to a copper, 'We know you stole the cash but, you can keep your job'.......Unbelievable Jeff!

NB. The Football Association has declined to comment on the matter, while tournament organisers UEFA have been approached for comment.

Well, we usually find a dramatic way of exiting tournaments. Hand of God, poisoned goalkeeper etc. A German ref avenging the penalty not given to his country by an English ref would be up there.

No comment from the F Assholes is just typical. How did the sport that this country invented end up in the hands of corrupt clowns like them, UEFA and FIFA??

So as not to stand out, what’s the odds on one of our players receiving two yellows tonight?
