Any sign of a forward yet?

With the new season rapidly approaching are there any rumours of a forward/ forwards, surely we aren’t going to start another season with only Asante and possibly Maja upfront, there’s always super Jed though to step up

No idea but we know that some signings are dependant on other clubs getting someone in first before a player is available. This leaves it late in the day but with forwards that doesnt matter because as a forward you just slot in and do your stuff. Asante could do with some support. He was brilliant last season considering it was all on him.

Asante did a brilliant job considering he was plucked from lg 2, I hope we can find another Odemwingie from somewhere as we have limited funds

Asante was great considering he came from Salford but he’s not a striker and can’t head or put the ball in the net. If Fellows continues the excellent form then Carlos will want to accommodate super Jed and rumour is there’s a barn door near St George’s for practice.

Sick of no striker! I bet Carlos admire Southgate tactically as both two of a kind - set up not to lose!

Lets hope last seasons style of football was because of the players we had, at times I was losing the will to live watching what can only be described as anti football, and if Furlong passed it backwards much more he’d be playing for the opposition
