    Neil Simpson

Simmie to depart the club next month to pursue a new venture with RAM Tubulars allegedly.

At 62, it seems a bit strange to be seeking a new opportunity. Sounds like maybe something happened behind the scenes to force it.

All the best to him anyway. A proper club legend.

Nae Simmie at Pittodrie? That’s just wrang. Unsettling. Hope it was genuinely his choice.

I’m sure he’ll succeed wherever he ends up as he seems a topper of a bloke.

Good luck Simmie min with your new venture. Great player for us in a great team.

Thankfully before mobiles or footage would have been be all over social media but those who were there in the Irish bar in the Europa Centre in Berlin for the Hertha game will have the same fond memories I have of a stripped to the waist Simmie enjoying a sing song being passed around the heads of all the Dons fans in the bar that evening.

A proper gentleman and absolute Dons legend.
