    Vaclav Hladky done and dusted

Great signing in my opinion. An upgrade on both Muric and Trafford. We desperately needed a safe pair of hands in goal.

Totally agree, like Sinky said there are an abundance of goalies around. He should be good cover for Trafford when he moves on. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Let's do what we are good at and sell him for a big price.

    1st solid signing

33 yrs old, and an ever present in last seasons Ipswich promotion winning side, what's their not to like?

Trafford on his way. This fella has been guaranteed the No1 spot, or he wouldn't have signed.

    1st a positive from me

I don’t get this. Why are we swapping goalkeepers with Ipswich? Why are we getting an upgrade for free? Why is he not wanting to play in the PL? How can he be better than Muric? A lot of questions I know, but it doesn’t make much sense other than financial to me, no upgrade but a downgrade.

We get a better than decent goalie for free. Ipswich get a better than decent goalie for the thick end of £10 million.

Burnley Football Club end up about £6 million better off.

    Have it!

I am a bit confused.I read somewhere that he was leaving Ipswich to return to his home country. Then we sell them Muric and buy him.
Strange in that I would have thought that he would jump at the chance to play in the EPL and salaries in the EPL are bigger. What was the
    attraction for him?

I think Barrie they wouldn’t offer him a longer contract and what he wanted , so eventually they parted ways
The thought for him was to go home but we offered him a 2 year deal and got him free - no brainer really for us as he’s a decent keeper.

I think that he could have family connections with the North West has Ipswich signed him from Salford City. Chris Casper is the main man at Salford and he could have helped him to make his mind, with his lad on our books

You not had any preseason friendlies yet so you can have a look at these guys and how Parker sets up?
