Not sure which shouty people you're talking about, but on here we seem to have had countless debates on immigration and I can't remember any well thought out concerns about immigration beyond meet with "waysist'. I can recall a few though where I ask what we would do to replacem an aging population in the labour market over the next generation, as well as the number of skilled and unskilled jobs that are filled by immigrants at the moment, and the anti immigration people don't seem to have an answer for it. Save forcing the sick and feckless to do jobs that an employer wouldnt want them anywhere near.
The anti immigration arguments are valid, genuine concerns, pointing to genuine problems in a complex situation. What I find is that too many are not willing or able to deal with the complexities and implications of aspiring to net zero.
