There’s less than two weeks to the football season kicks off and I presume that you’re going to do your excellent prediction comp again,can I ask you to put up the rules beforehand so that we all be clear what we are and aren’t allowed to do,for instance I know that all 1-0’’s etc are frowned upon long term but as I’ve spent the closed season devising a system that will get me a top three finish behind howoldboy and yourself I was just looking for clarification

Just being a good Christian and giving you the chance to pull out now,I’ve already said that I’ve perfected a system to win over the closed season and I fully expect a good finish,I may pledge my £20 to second place again just so that I get it back in May yet still look generous

I predicted a top three finish so that doesn’t even make sense,I fear nobody this season having spent two months on various forums perfecting my system,griff will be begging me to pull out because everyone has lost interest by January but will still invite me to Gloucestershire to present me with a magnum of champagne such will be my success,you bdb will be shelling out for thirty five quids worth of booze and your gloating will have learnt a lesson

What has been going on during my involuntary absence? How can you ban 1-0 as a selection given it is the most common football scoreline in history??
