The NHS Blood Bank - Amber Alert - Shortage of O Positive & O Negative Blood.

A amber alert is called when the NHS blood bank have less than 2 days worth of
blood in stock.

Their aim is to have 6 days stock at any one time, but there is a shortage.

Hospitals are cutting back on using blood, unless needed.

Give blood if you can, especially if you are type 'O'
