    Valencia friendly or not so

Two great goals, Joseph and Georgie boy, worth seeing and hopefully we get similar in the league games - spoiled by Valencia thug Mir who thinks it ok to grab players by the throat and a sh!te ref who only issues a yellow for it. Mir did eventually get his marching orders though for flattening Firpo

Their number 9 was the one who was giving it out the most - he left a few on Bogle and Ampadu

    They were dirty.

However, that's likely what we will face all season. Many teams are not going to be able to match up with us skill wise.

We stood up well to those tactics too Spaldy - we have some big units in the team.

    Bogle
    Rodon
    Struijk
    Wober
    Ampadu
    Rutter
    Joseph

All are big and asset themselves too.

Really hope that when the cheap shots occur on us, as we know they will, that we really lay the wood on some of these cheap shot players. Years of hockey and beer league football taught me that when the cheap shots start nothing stops it faster than f*cking the cheap shot artist up. Especially when the goalie or keeper is involved. Zero mercy. These players careers are on the line. The stakes are high and make sure that the other team understands it.

Play clean but hard until the dirty stuff starts and then retaliate multiple times harder. Generally, cheap shot artists are cowards and when you call them out they back down. This is especially the case if you end one of their seasons or career.
It's the captains job to let the other team know the rules of engagement.
