Stats show that we've beaten them 17 times, drawn 13 and lost 14. I think the best we can hope for is a 14th draw.

They're looking a solid team, again we are talking about a team that's way ahead of us in building a promo chasing outfit. They will be there or thereabouts come May, hoping to nick a draw but in reality a 2-0 defeat looms.

Just had a butcher's at their season thus far. Beat MK Dons 5-0 in the Caraboa Cup, won 3-2 at the Den and 3-0 at home to Stoke in the League. That's 11 goals and they have been scored by 7 different players so they have a threat just about everywhere on the pitch. They play a back 3. It will be interesting to see if PW varies from the back 4 to combat them in midfield.

Proposed matchday starting XI now we know Cash and Kane are out. The former for 2 games due to his concussion and Wilson's hamstring injury won't see him play before the international break.

Vickers in goal simply because PW said the short was his to lose. Good game last weekend and deserves the reward of keeping his place.

RB - Ward or Nyambe? Depends on the game plan. if we're going more defensively due to their good start then it will be Nyambe. If it's an attacking plan then Ward

RCH Nelson LCH Bradley LB Elder

    MF Ozoh Goudmijn Osborn

    Up top Jackson Yates NML

If he goes back 3 so we don't get overrun in MF then that's Nyambe Nelson Bradley

MF5 of Ward, Ozoh, Goudmijn, Osborn, NML

    Up top Jackson and Yates

I cannot see anything other than a win for Watford here, 2-1.

Spot on that, I fear. No Cashin or Wilson either but…you never know. At least after last week we don’t have the added pressure of having to break our ‘duck’.
