    Ollie going

Apparently he's leaving us for a substantial fee?? Off to League 1 rival.

That will be 22 players out and 13 players in and a big hole in the midfield, especially for a manager that likes high energy hard working midfield. If Odoffin and Christ leave which is still an option our midfield is looking a real issue. I hope the club will replace him with a quality player that isn't in his 30s

Having his medical this morning, this was nailed on when contract talks were 'suspended' until the end of the summer!

    Odoffin to follow him?

As for a League 1 rival, you would have to look at the likes of Bolton, plus it's on his doorstep.

Evo is right to criticise the board for letting so many players leave on a free. I bet Tony thinks he's hit the jackpot bringing home a no nonsense Manager who WILL recoup money for players rather than let them run their contracts down and leave on a free. Well done Evo.

We'll miss his terrier attitude in the middle but, football moves on. How about any of those players the EFL are trying to get clubs for? Anyone of them midfielders?

    Steve Evans has said -
There as been criticism of the Rotherham United board level, in which the club
as allowed contracts to run down in the past, good players have left for low
    fees or nothing.
Evans said, he is here to stop this, the club have agreed a fee with another
league one club, the player has agreed terms, the player said he wanted to
    try pastures new.
Evans also said the Millers board asked him to put a valuation on Rathbone,
which he did, & the club buying Rathbone agreed to pay it.
At least now we have someone at the club in Steve Evans, who will get the
best deal for the club, where in the past the Millers board did not have a
    clue on valuation of players.

For me this squad is still short of 3 players and that seems to be Evans view as well (which is the important one lol) I also think that if anymore players leave we have to replace them, we will need a full squad of high quality to compete in this league

You will always get players that will want a change, something new.
Is there something wrong, the player not happy here.
The club should be looking at why a player wanted to leave rather than stay.
Sad day when good players leave.
    He was a good un.
At the parkgate friendly, Paul Rayner was barking instructions at Ollie to do this do that, go here go there.
    Embarrassing.
