Thread: Our midfield.

  1. #1

    Our midfield.

Just smacked me straight between the eyes, if we sell Berge this is what we are left with:

    Johann Berg Gudmundsson.
    Josh Brownhill.
    Josh Cullen.
Han-Noah Massengo. (So far only used to model our latest range of shirts).
    Nathan Redmond. (Injured).
    Scott Twine. (Leaving?)
    Vitinho. (Playing at left back?)

A bit thin I reckon. Can we afford to sell Berge?

Weak as p!ss is yon midfield.

Berge will be off to fill the black financial hole along with one from, O'Shea or Odebert

I can see a few more incomings over the next couple of weeks to plug the gaps

My preference would be to keep O'Shea and sell Odebert, has it is inevitable that Berge wil be off this window

Clubs could also be sniffing around Brownhill, who is in his last 12 months of his contract. We would probably sell for the right money

Looking at our squad. If we lose 2 of the above mentioned without adequate replacement, we will struggle to make the top 6

I don't see Vitinho (fullback/winger) , Twine (No10) or Redmond (winger) as Central Midfielders.
We've got Cullen , Berge , Brownhill , Messengo & JBG as Central Midfielders , ideally could do with another especially if/when Berge goes.

Plenty of time for wheeling and dealing yet. See where we are when the window closes.

I watched United yesterday and for the life in me I can't see why they want or need Berge.

If we sell Odebert now all we ar doing is making Ipswich for example a 20 million profit on what they buy him for- it’s madness
