Keep the faith as can see the lad scoring on Saturday! You can’t write Dobby off yet!

Last night, it looked like minimum effort from him, I may be wrong but that’s how it seemed to me. Far more suited to giving rides on the beach.

If he’s anywhere near the first team come Saturday then we are in trouble

In fairness to Villa these days, they rarely f u c k up with transfers, quite the contrary.

Playing with shy te can bring decent players down to their level and there was plenty of shy te around him at Fleetwood.

I remember watching Kanu’s home debut pre season with us against Osasuna.

Kanu popped up in the inside right channel and twisted the blood of his marker having received a pass from our right back Bernd Haas ( he of internet jerk off fame! )

Kanu turned his marker inside out before playing a lovely reverse pass down the right wing for Haas to run free onto……only problem, old Bernd was stood admiring his initial pass and Kanu’s cute reverse pass rolled gently into the East Stand hoardings.

Kanu rolled his eyes, outstretched his arms and then smiled a resigned smile to the Brummie Rd before plodding back towards his own goal.

I’m sure he was dreaming of the seasons previous where such a pass would’ve reached an onrushing Lee Dixon or maybe Dennis Bergkamp but alas, he was now saddled with the likes of Bernd Haas who didn’t think at the same level.

Dobbin has been amongst players of a better cut than ours, he too may be finding his own versions of Bernd Haas amongst our “stiffs”.

Give the kid a break eh, or would you all prefer a contract extension for Reach and the likes?
