    How to make Britain great

For those of a Panglossian view of Britain, people would do well to read and think about:

    https://www.bbc.com/travel/article/2...iveable-cities

I was struck by the true comment that children routinely speak three or four languages. From what I read, many children in Britain can barely speak English.

As BT has written, every problem has a solution. Until such time as the British acknowledge that is has become a third world country, that other countries actually do it better, it will continue to decline further - if that is possible.

I don't just think it's possible, it's inevitable. Labour has only just started, they've five years to go yet, by which time we'll be looking back on 2024 as Halcyon days.

Swiss debt to GDP 39.1% UK 101.3% and Labour under the ultimate deep state puppet Starmer have just got in power.Mandelson is one of his chief advisors-Blair 2.0.
Like Sinkov says 2024 will look like paradise compaired with 2028 in the UK.

I really don’t believe this lot will go the full term 5 years
They e upset so many now a month in and obviously lie just like the last lot.

Politics in our country is a laughing stock

The question is how far down can Starmer take it , interestingly I watched 2 interviews several weeks back over the subject pensioners - allowances and how poor the conservatives were - how he’d himself talked to vulnerable elderly people who darent put the heating on or put shopping back on the shelves because they couldn’t afford it.

3 months later he’s docked the allowances and doesn’t give a monkeys uncle.

Short memories in this country - though I will say I’ve listened to a lot of Labour voters on the radio who are not impressed with his lies

I wrote on a dedicated political thread that arbitrarily cutting the Winter Fuel Allowance and murmurs of targeting interest on pensioners savings and raiding pension funds is a recipe for disaster.

I noticed a distinct lack of contrary opinion.

I read today that the Government has agreed a 15% wage increase for rail workers as a way to end the strikes - with no concessions over work practices. And who is going to pay for that?

Who’s next in line? Form an orderly queue all you public workers……provided that you can do it from home.

The percentage of pensioners on social media is minimal BT whereas the vast majority of the entitled generation will be on social media and all in on seizing money from your pension to fund their lifestyle.

Next step down the line in labours agenda to screw the working class and hand our tax money to the underclass, will be to means test the state pension.

Labour contri to their duck egg supporters have never been out for the working class, unless you work for the public sector of course, or you are an immigrant who gets free housing and every state hand out going

All will be revealed about Two Tier Kier in the miserable months that probably lie ahead. He said “Vote for Change”. We will get “More of the Same”. Winter Fuel Allowance for many pensioner already axed. Protections for green belt either already or will be axed and the rights to object will be overridden. March for Palestine on our streets or chant for open doors for all immigrants and you will be fine. I get the impression that many people (rightly or wrongly) no longer believe the Government is actually safeguarding them.
