With all the crown jewels being sold on / asset stripping going on I can only presume they are perhaps paving the way for Red Bull to come in for a complete takeover.

Hard to be too sure Rev - but latest is Georginio on his bike to Brighton after they triggered his £40million release clause. [Which nmost of us wouldn't have expected to happen especially after the way he finished last season]
Trouble is all these clauses where put in place by Radz and Orta - and there's not a lot the current board can do to stop players wanting to leave for the premiership and the increased wages and status that that brings - they have alledgedly tried to convince Rutter to stay but it seems unlikely he will.
We will see what Farke has to say on the subject in his press conference this afternoon.

Agree. Past mistakes rearing their ugly heads again. Can’t blame Rutter, signing on fee, higher salary and a well run Prem side.

What really matters is what they do with the cash. I wouldn’t rule out Gnonto going now.

They need to step up and quickly yet why does it feel the same old none show.

When will owners stop being short sighted. Anyone can see the potential our club has, just manage it properly 49ers.

Would expect as you say Gnonto to go and possibly now Wober.

We seem very good at going from riches to rags but the other way around - not so much

By rough reckoning we have:

Money from Sinisterra from Jan window which I think counts to this year 23m
Kamara 5m profit
Gray 40m profit
Cresswell 4m profit
Summerville 24m profit
Rutter 5m profit

We then have the red bull money but maybe there was a clause there which means we only get paid in energy drinks.

In the case of players we signed slightly more complicated as the fee we pay is amortised over the contract period but any fees in are booked that year for FFP I believe.

Not sure why we aren’t plundering other teams in the way we have been.

Surely that means we are in a position to sign some excellent championship players. It can’t be that difficult as other teams seem to be demonstrating.

To be fair think Bogle will be good and Rodon despite his start to the season is good.
