    Let's talk about Bristol Rovers

First league home game of the season and I'm hoping for a rip-roaring display, whether that happens is another matter.

If anyone hasn't seen it, there's an update on the injuries to Hungbo and Rafferty in the Advertiser. Thankfully both are in contention for Saturday.

    Thoughts on the game?

    I'm going 3-1 Millers.

Looks like Matt Taylor has put a decent league one team together at the memorial stadium, wouldn’t be surprised to see them turn us over. But on the other hand it’s a Matt Taylor team. If we lose to one of his teams we must surely see Steve Evans doing the walk of shame down New York way.

Nombe starts for me anything else is by the by.

There's only Powell who looks a progressive signing.

You missed out that Powell should also be a definite starter. Tremendous player. I would also like to see at some point, Holmes given a run at them, shame he wasn't used against Crewe.

Thanks for the update pal, saves me buying The Tizer to read on who's missing and why.

Got a real soft spot for Bristol Rovers. Great supporters, who make a real din.

Holmes won't be given much chance imo. He needs to learn a lot defensively before he will get the roll of rwb/RW... The 2 games I saw him he lost his marker several times. Luckily the attacking/opposition player didn't spot the runs

Cayton, but if you don't get much game time, you don't learn so something has to give if they are looking to improve him.

The lad won't be on a big wage so nothing lossed. I can see him playing Tuesday. Won't be surprised to see him going out on loan before the window shuts.

We need a better cover right back than Mcdonald. Mcwilliams SE says can play there. After at Exeter we'll return to a back 4. Being at home 3 in midfield Odoffin Teihi Powell. Nombe JCH Hungbo or Wilkes front 3.
