    Transfer window

Whats the deal with Paul Mitchel, is he still on summer holiday?

Two players fringe and thats going to put us back in the top 4 mix?

We need a CB and a RW. And that CB has to come in real soon!

    I dont like this...

    Very poor so far.

I'm not ignoring the fact that we haven't lost any of our 'big' players-but celebrating that fact is perpetuating the small-time mentality which has been a feature for years.

Mind, we can only properly assess the window once it's closed and I know the club are actively trying. Other than the usual reasons players don't come, PSR is the number one problem, obviously, and that's not going away.

It’s been a disaster. We would have been better off keeping Anderson and Minteh and not spending anything, we would have been stronger. We look stale, we needed 5 or 6 signings. It’s not all down to PSR either it’s the boardroom preforming badly. It looks like they can only do one deal at a time? Negotiating with Crystal Palace and nothing else been done.? We sold our best RW to find another RW? WTAF!? If this has happing under Ashley there would be war going on with the fans.

Celebrating not selling players, or "Will be like a new singing" sounds exactly like life under Ashley, we were battered down so low, we accepted it.

Look, we’d all like to improve the positions we consider ourselves as being weak - right wing, right side of the central defence and a holding midfielder (the latter is more my opinion than a shared consensus). However, given we’ve not been able to sell players who aren’t good enough to play for us, the financial restrictions don’t allow us to continue to spend, spend, spend. We were forced into the sales of Minteh and Anderson. Forest helped us out with Anderson as long as we did them a favour by grossly overpaying for an average GK. Without that we’d be staring down the barrel of a hefty points deduction.

We are navigating choppy waters with a brand new hierarchy which is clearly experiencing teething problems. No denying that but there is still a week and bit to go before the window SLAMS shut (made myself ill with that Sky Sports nonsense term) and everything points to us getting a CB in at the very least.

Mitchell is getting pelters already from many fans for not splurging on big names with a swish of his alleged magic wand. They guy has been here 2 months max and has a huge job to do. I personally think we need to chill out a bit and see what happens before going into meltdown. Even if we don’t strengthen at all, we have a squad good enough to competes for top 6 if we get a bit of luck with injuries. A bit of positivity will do us no harm.

There’s no big melt down going on at all but let’s be realistic the pressure is on. There’s 8 teams fighting for 4 places, we already have an advantage in not playing any European football, it was imperative that we have a good transfer window. The season has already started, there’s 10 days left of the transfer window.

Good luck trying to keep your best players next season when other clubs can offer champions league football and 300k a week in wages.

Not possible, we would have had a points deduction.

Thats correct, but I do agree that our squad isnt really any better than at the start of last season.

Were obviously not as good as under slimey Dan, when it comes to getting deals over the line. Or maybe it is Amandas departure...

Whatever it is, thet need to fokin roll up their sleeves and get the job done. This is not good enough!

Because they are Chelsea, one of the chosen darlings and there for they are allowed to get away with things that us normal clubs can't get away with.
