    Home of the giants

I think we’re making some sensible moves in bringing in big tall players. This seems to be an approach from big clubs like City, who want decent football but stability from set plays, power and an attacking threat from corners.

Get the next couple of signings right and I think we might be quite a dangerous side.

Wasn't Mr Pulis all about being over six feet to get in the side..?

He was but I can't see Corberan wanting pump it in the box football whilst camping in our own half.

A lot of big clubs are becoming wise to size and style, getting both right can be useful. Look at Newcastle and City for an example.

I agree, especially in defence and defensive midfield areas.

Maybe we might start to win headers in our own box then! Our current 6 foot plus defenders are poor at handling crosses.

Given the ‘Furlong throw-in’ length, undoubtedly more height attacking it will also be an advantage. (Al la Delap)

So still is Dike. He has had horrendously bad look. I doubt very much that he has become a bad player in the meantime. He is ours and he has shown what he can do. Personally I think we should get behind him and give him a chance. A seriously big man.
