Motherwell thrash Hearts at Fir Park to earn a first league win

Stuart Kettlewell's side delivered a terrific performance that thoroughly deserved the 3-1 win on a winter's day. - External Link

Wonderful stuff and Kettlewell was spot on, both in the prep and also after in describing it as a 'Motherwell' performance - Hearts will 99% be better than us over the season but over 90 minutes we negated their strengths, maximised our own and had we won by three or four it wouldn't have been undeserved.

A word of caution is that I don't think that sort of game, glorious as it was, is representative of our season...next week will give a much better indication of that. Win in Perth and we can be very pleased with our start and optimistic for what's to come.
