Will be disapointed if we only finish 2nd and Champions COYB
Aren’t exactly setting the championship alight. Luton really have the blues. Sheffield bang average and Burnley have lost already. Sunderland are the surprise package so far but I really think we have a chance of automatic this season. If all goes to plan. If.

We are not automatic in my opinion.
First half we were really good but second half we were very poor.
No judgement can be made on one half. Sunderland ran Burnley ragged last week when they beat them. Burnley will still be the team to beat!
For me loved Jason’s goal but still don’t think he’s an Okay - maybe one of the new players will be! Swift for me was poor again!
Honestly think this squad overall is better than last season’s and yes automatic is possible!
Were we that bad 2nd half? Consensus seems to be we were excellent 1st half and dropped off 2nd but not enough to warrant a 'very poor.' My opinion based on what I've read and mates that went have said.
PS. Watched some of QPR at Luton match in a London pub last night with some Rangers fans. I was impressed even when they went 1-0 down.
Makes our convincing win there seem all the better
It is early days but the performances have been very good and the mentality and atmosphere around the players makes me think we do have what it takes with this squad and manager. Even the best teams in the world have moments when they drop off during matches but overall we will be too much for most teams this season. It’s a team effort. They are all playing for one another. The change in ownership has injected a new belief.
Like others, I genuinely feel that the squad this season is generally better than last season.
I really liked BTA for his work rate and personality but he was never a natural goal scorer and with Maja back, a rejuvenated Grant as well as Dike likely to return before Xmas, we have more than replaced his loss. Yokuslu was class but personally I couldn't help but feel that his performances dropped off towards the end of last season and that maybe we'd seen his best days. In all honesty, I don't think we miss him too much. Townsend was a good servant to the club but certainly Heggem is looking an improvement and becoming something of a fan favourite. Kipre is the one we probably miss most.
With so many recent acquisitions it's very early days yet as the squad will take time to really gel but the signs are promising and I think that reaching the play offs is certainly an achievable aim for us-something I wouldn't have thought back in July!
Automatic promotion? The second half yesterday showed we still have improvements to make (as Corberan himself readily acknowledged) but we are playing more fluid and attacking football and still managing to secure some clean sheets under pressure so why not? It's not outside the realms of possibility!
