He starred in dozens of films including Field of Dreams, Coming To America, Conan the Barbarian and The Lion King. He was best known for giving the Star Wars supervillain Darth Vader his distinctive, gravelly voice.
A very deep voice indeed that is easily recognisable. 93, a very good age to have lived.
Can almost hear him now calling out to his Son ‘Simba’ in The Lion King.
