    Milai Perott

Strange that this one went under the radar. Congrats Milai

Bermudian goalkeeper Milai Perott has signed his first professional contract with Sky Bet League Two side Notts County.

The 20-year-old, who earned his first call-up to the Bermuda senior team for their Concacaf Nations League matches in Antigua and Barbuda, joined Notts Couty last year, registering for their B and Under-18 teams.

Perott, a former Dandy Town player, is a product of the FCV International Academy in Leicestershire, a football and education school for players aged 14 to 21.

“The FCV Academy would like to wish a huge congratulations to FCV graduate Milai Perott, who has recently signed his first professional contract at Notts County following a year in the club’s B team,” The FCV Academy wrote on social media.

Definitely went under the radar. First I’ve heard of it but good to see we have a youngster keeper in the squad. Makes next summer easier just having to bring in one back up keeper when Sam and Aidan leave

countygump posted about his arrival at Meadow Lane last year. Nobody seemed to notice/comment back then and I haven't heard anything about him since so well done Milai for earning a deal!

(Here's the original story for those who may have missed it...

I saw him last year doing the warm ups but didn't know who he was. It was when the squad was low on keepers of quality and I quipped may as well give him a go as he looked quite handy. Glad to see he's making progress

I noticed we signed a youth player from Salford in the summer too, he's currently off at the Asian u20 Cup qualifying with the Philippines.
